Bafang g330 ratchet/ Bafang M400 pawl clutch for replacement; If your bafang M400 is not smooth when pedaling, then consider the ratchet is defective.

This pawl clutch is also suitable for AEG MM G350 motor.

Bafang M400 reduction gear for replacement; the Bafang G330 motor steel cover is included.

The item includes motor gasket, reduction gear and gear cover/motor casing as shown in the picture.

Bafang M400 G330 motor controller for replacement. There are two protocols for Bafang G330 controller, UART or CANbus; for CANbus motor, you will need to calibrate the motor after replacing the controller. UART protocol controller will have a "U" mark on the controller, it's EB-BUS connector  is with female connector and the display for the motor would be UART protocol with a 5 pin round connector.  If the display connector is with triangle connector, then it is with CAN protocol. The back of the display may also mark “CAN” . If you don't know how to identiy UART and CANbus motor, please email us. 

The Bafang M400 G330 controllers has several parameters, 36V 250W, 36V 350W, 43V 350W or 48V 350W controllers, please check your own motor before placing the order. By the way, If  your original M400 controller is 48V250W, please choose 48V 350W controller for your motor(Bafang has upgraded 250W 48V controller to be 350W 48V).

If you want a headlight for your bike, you can add a pair Bafang M400 G330 headlight/rearlight cable and a LED headlgiht with the controller.

Note: Coaster brake controller and standard e-brake controller are not compatible. Normally coaster brake motor will have  "CB" marks on the motor. If you are not sure your motor is standard e-brake motor or coaster brake motor, please email us, we will check for you. If you don't know how to identify, please check our picture. The coaster brake controller installs on e-brake motor, the coaster brake controller will be burned at once.

Bafang has two protocols for the max drive mid motor, UART or CAN protocol. How to identify? UART protocol controllers no need calibration; CAN protocol controllers may needs calibration.

Important: There are two types speed sensors, you can identify them by the connector, 4 pins connector is for CAN motors, and 3 pins connectors is for UART motors, please check your original speed sensor's connector before ordering. Bafang M400 G330 axle with torque sensor;

The axle provided by Bafang fits for Bafang M400 G330 mid motor.

The length for the axle is 151mm.

There are two versions for Max drive mid motor, standard e-brake motor and coaster brake(pedal brake) mid motor; and the torque sensor for them are different.

There are two protocols for the torque sensors, CAN and UART protocol;  For how to identify the motor is UART or CAN protocol, please check our pictures on the M400 controller page. There is another way to identify. UART protocol torque sensor connectors are with the female connectors which are shown on our pictures; the CAN torque sensor is with the male connectors.

Bafang DP C080 display, supports Bafang Go+ app, it supports multiple languages and it can set wheel diameter and unlock motor speed for Bafang M560, M510, M600, M820, M400 or M420 motors(max 60KM/H); older firmwware cannot unlock the speed, please note.

This display is only suitable for Bafang CANbus motor, such as M620(CANbus), M560, M600, M510, M420(CANbus), M410, M400(CANbus), M300(CANbus), M200, M210, M325, M625 motors.

Bafang Max drive M400 /G330 barebone motor.

If your motor is "old age" and defective, you can buy a new barebone motor to replace it.

The are two protocols for Bafang G330/ M400 motor, UART and CAN, UART motor is with 3 pins speed sensor cable, and CAN motor is with 4 pins speed sensor cable, UART motor's display is round connector which CAN motor's display is triangle connector. How to check your max drive G330 motor is UART or CAN protocol? Check the original display connector, UART protocol is with round 5pin connector display which CAN protocol is with 5pin triangle connector display.

Bafang M400 G330 motor take apart:

Bafang MM G330 m400 Motor nylon gear with bearing for replacement；

There would be two versions for the Nylon gear, one is with 4mm gap depth, and the other is with 6mm gap depth.

The height of the bearing is 46mm with 4mm gap gear; the bearing height for 6mm gap gear is 44mm. The two Max drive bearing sets are not compatible. 

44mm gear set is the old version while 46mm gear set is the new version, please check your original bearing before placing the order.

The solo nylon gear only fits for 44mm gear set.

Bafang G330 motor core, including Bafang 36V M400 stator or rotor for replacement.

Bafang M400 motor windings is easy to disassemble and replace.

The Bafang M400 G330 motor core are sourced directly from Bafang.

The UART protocol controller will have a "U" mark on the controller, it's EB-BUS connector is with female connector and the display for the motor would be UART protocol with a 5 pin round connector.
If the display connector is with triangle connector, then it is with CAN protocol. The back of the display may also mark “CAN".

Replacing the CAN motor core, you may need to recalibrate the motor.
