Bafang has upgraded BBSHD rotor and stator since April 2019. The new version stator and rotor cannot compatible with the old version rotor and stator.

The stators we have now are the new version, you may need to replace the rotor as well if old version stator is defective.

The stators for 100mm, 110mm, 120mm BBSHD kit are the same.

Replacing BBSHD stator is similar with BBS01/BBS02 stator:

Bafang BBS01/BBS02 finger freewheel/ pedal freewheel/pawl clutch for replacement.

If your Bafang BBS works normally by throttle, but bike pedals do not work and spin around freely, the pawl clutch of the bbs may be blown, and replacing the freewheel may solve the BBS problem.  The BBSHD pedal freewheel is different with BBS01/BBS02B pedal freewheel.

8FUN BBS01B/BBS02B/BBSHD controller rubber seal. This rubber seal can prevent water or sand coming into the motor. If you are going to replace the controller, the bbs controller rubber seal is needed.

8FUN BBS01/BBS02 axle/shaft rubber seal. 

Bafang BBS small chainwheel, 32T, 34T, 36T or 38T. This smaller chainwheel only works for 250W, 350W, 500W and 750W BBS01/BBD02 kits; it is not suitable for BBSHD. This chainwheel must be used with BCD104 chainwheel spider. If you need a BCD104 chainwheel spider, you can also order on our website; we have two version BCD104, you can check first on our website. Some customers may already have the BCD104 chainwheel spider, in this case, you don't need to buy an extra BCD104 chainwheel adaptor.

Blue, Red and black color are available; 

Positive and negative teeth can prevent the chain from dropping.

Bafang BBSHD larger steel redunction gear with cover for replacement. The gear cover for Bafang BBS HD is steel cover, not 7H plastic cover, please note.

Bafang fatbike/snowbike RM G06 motor cover with cassette base for replacement.  This motor cover is used for Bafang fatbike RM G06 cassette motor, please note. Bafang BBSHD rotor for replace.

Bafang recently upgraded BBSHD rotors and stator. The new version rotor is more durable, but it is not compatible with old version stator housing. Bafang recommends to replace the motor core(rotor+stator) if your old version is broken and nowhere to find the old version rotor. If you also need the BBSHD stator, please order on our website.

Bafang no longer stock old version rotor; the bbshd rotor we have currently is new version; if your rotor is old version, we recommend you to add the stator as well.

How to identify your rotor is old version or new version, please refer to the picture illustration on our website. 

If your BBSHD motor is ordered before April, 2019, then it would be with the old version BBSHD rotor because Bafang upgraded the rotor in April 2019.

Bafang BBSHD kit chain wheel 40T, 42T, 44T or 46T

Bafang Max drive core, including Bafang M400 stator or rotor for replacement.

Bafang M400 motor core is easy to disassemble and replace.

The Bafang MAX drive M400 G330 motor core are sourced directly from Bafang.

If your motor is CAN protocol, this stator or motor core would not fit for your motor. 

How to check your motor is CAN or UART protocol? Please check from the M400 controller or the Bafang display connector;

The UART protocol controller will have a "U" mark on the controller, it's EB-BUS connector is with female connector and the display for the motor would be UART protocol with a 5 pin round connector.
If the display connector is with triangle connector, then it is with CAN protocol. The back of the display may also mark “CAN".

Replacing the CAN motor core, you may need to recalibrate the motor.

Bafang max drive MM G330 Motor nylon gear with bearing for replacement；

There would be two versions for the Nylon gear, one is with 4mm gap depth, and the other is with 6mm gap depth.

The height of the bearing is 46mm with 4mm gap gear; the bearing height for 6mm gap gear is 44mm. The two Max drive bearing sets are not compatible. 

44mm gear set is the old version while 46mm gear set is the new version, please check your original bearing before placing the order.

The solo nylon gear only fits for 46mm gear set.

Bafang Ultra Motor metal gear/bearings for replacement;

Bafang has upgraded the gear, it is metal gear rather than nylon gear. 

Two end bearings(6000RS) are 10mm inner diameter,  26mm outer diameter and 8mm in thickness;

The big steel gear is about 53mm in diameter; the small metal gear is about 27.5mm in diameter;

It's the third steel gear of the Bafang Ultra motor.

Bafang upgraded the M620 G510 rotor and the third gears this year to reduce the motor noise. The two rotors are the same with sizes; only the teeth are different; The two third steel gears are also different with teeth numbers, please check our pictures.  If your motor was sourced before 2023, then your motor would be with the old version rotor and the 3rd steel gear; if your motor was sourced this year, please check before ordering or buy the rotor and the 3rd gear together.  

If you want to reduce noice for your Bafang M620 motor, you can try to replace to the new rotor and the new third gear.

Bafang Ultra M620 G510 motor pawl clutch, finger freewheel /ratchet wash for repair；

Bafang may have upgraded the pawl clutch. The height has little difference according to our customers' feedback. It's better for you to measure your original pawl clutch height before ordering. Our Bafang Ultra pawl freewheel is 15mm in height. If your motor is not yet openned, you can consider to order the whole Bafang Ultra reduction gear set including the pawl clutch, replacing the whole gear set is ok according to customer's feedback.

Bafang 8FUN bbs01/ bbs02 motor rotor for replacement.  If your Bafang BBS kits starts making noise, you can open the bbs kit to check if the rotor is in good condition or not; the rotor shaft diameter is 8mm, if it wears down, the rotor will wobble and scrape the stator which causes the noise.

Note: The rotor cannot fit old version BBS kit; The old version bbs models are BBS01 and BBS02; the new version bbs models are BBS01B and BBS02B. You can find the model mark on the motor shell. The rotor is suitable for new version(BBS01B and BBS02B).
