Bafang M420 motor controller for replacement.

There are two protocols for M420 motors, CAN and UART protocol.  They are not compatible. CAN protocol is with 8 pin male connector for EB-BUS; while UART protocol is with 8 pin female connector for EB-BUS. Please double check before ordering. If you identify the motor protocol from the speed sensor, CAN speed speed sensor has 4 pin connector while UART speed sensor has 3 pin connector. You can also identify the motor protocol from the display connector: Bafang DP C18 display

Please note, If your motor is CAN protocol, the motor needs to be recalibrated after replacing the controller, therefore you need to have a besst tool to complete the final re-calibration. If you don't have the besst tool and the account, your ebike will not work.  For UART motor, replacing the controller no need calibration.

Bafang M600 /M500 torque sensor is CAN protocol; M420 motor torque sensors have two protocols, CAN and UART protocol while UART protocol M420 has standard motor and coaster brake motor which the torque sensors are different, please double check before ordering. You can send us an email if you don't know how to check the motor protocol.

Note: If your motor is a CAN protocol motor, you may need to calibrate the motor after replacing the torque sensor.

Bafang M600 M510 M500 M410 M200 motor eb-bus cable.  The 1T4 cable is one more cable than the 1T3 EB-BUS: the battery communication cable. If you need the counterpart of the battery communication, please email us. The battery COM lead is with the yellow triangle connection.

1T4 harness: display, throttle, light cable and battery communication lead;  If your ebike uses a Bafang battery, then the EB-BUS cable for your bike will have battery communication leads, then you need to choose 1T4 EB-BUS cable.

1T3 harness: display, throttle and light leads; If your ebike does not use a Bafang battery, then 1T3 cable would be suitable for your motor.

1T3 harness: display, light lead and battery communication, this is mostly for M510 FC2.0 motor.

1T2 harness: display and light leads. If you don't have throttle for your bike, this one would be suitable for you. This cable is mostly for M510 too.

1T1 EB-BUS cable: only for display, if you don't use throttle and bike light, then you can choose this cable

This cable is suitable for all the Bafang CAN-bus display.

Bafang M410 controller 36V 250W for replacement.

You need to calibrate the motor with Bafang Besst tool after replacing the Bafang M410 controller, please note.
