Bafang max drive  M400 G330 motor controller(UART protocol) for replacement. If your motor is with CAN protocol, this controller will not fit. Please double check before ordering.

The Bafang M400 controllers has several parameters, 36V 250W, 36V 350W, 43V 350W or 48V 350W controllers, please check your own motor before placing the order.

If you want a headlight for your bike, you can add a pair Bafang MAX M400 G330 headlight/rearlight cable and a LED headlgiht with the controller.

Note: if your original motor is with coaster brake, this controller may not fit.

Bafang has two protocols for the max drive mid motor, UART or CAN protocol. How to identify? UART protocol controllers no need calibration; CAN protocol controllers may needs calibration. 

If the display connector is with triangle connector, then it is with CAN protocol. The back of the display may also mark “CAN” .

The controllers we are selling is with UART protocol and it will not fit for CAN protocol motor. please double check before ordering. 

If your original controller is 48V 13A, then you can choose 48V 13A controller for replacement. Bafang has upgraded to 13A controller for the 48V motor.

Bafang Max drive MM M400 G330 axle with torque sensor;

The axle provided by Bafang fits for Bafang M400 G330 mid motor.

The length for the axle is 151mm.

There are two versions for Max drive mid motor, standard e-brake motor and coaster brake(pedal brake) mid motor; and the torque sensor for them are different.

There are two protocols for the torque sensors, CAN and UART protocol;  For how to identify the motor is UART or CAN protocol, please check our pictures on the M400 controller page. There is another way to identify. UART protocol torque sensor connectors are with the female connectors which are shown on our pictures; the CAN torque sensor is with the male connectors.

Bafang M400 G330 G33 motor sealing gasket; if you open your motor, the gasket would be violated, then you may need a new gasket.  

Bafang Max drive core, including Bafang M400 stator or rotor for replacement.

Bafang M400 motor core is easy to disassemble and replace.

The Bafang MAX drive M400 G330 motor core are sourced directly from Bafang.

If your motor is CAN protocol, this stator or motor core would not fit for your motor. 

How to check your motor is CAN or UART protocol? Please check from the M400 controller or the Bafang display connector;

The UART protocol controller will have a "U" mark on the controller, it's EB-BUS connector is with female connector and the display for the motor would be UART protocol with a 5 pin round connector.
If the display connector is with triangle connector, then it is with CAN protocol. The back of the display may also mark “CAN".

Replacing the CAN motor core, you may need to recalibrate the motor.

Bafang max drive MM G330 Motor nylon gear with bearing for replacement；

There would be two versions for the Nylon gear, one is with 4mm gap depth, and the other is with 6mm gap depth.

The height of the bearing is 46mm with 4mm gap gear; the bearing height for 6mm gap gear is 44mm. The two Max drive bearing sets are not compatible. 

44mm gear set is the old version while 46mm gear set is the new version, please check your original bearing before placing the order.

The solo nylon gear only fits for 46mm gear set.

Bafang Max drive cable, main harness 1T3, connecting the display, a pair of e-brakes, cable length: 1.2m;

Bafang Max drive cable, main harness 1T2, connecting the display and one brake, cable length: 1.2m;

Bafang Max drive cable, main harness 1T1, connecting the display, for coaster brake system, cable length: 1.5m

If your original Max drive unit is with 1T1 EB-BUS and you want to add a throttle function for your ebike, please choose the 1T4 EB-BUS. The throttle function only works after starting with pedaling the ebike, please note.  

If your original Max drive unit is with 1T3 EB-BUS and you want to add a throttle function for your ebike, please choose the 1T4 EB-bus. The throttle function only works after starting with pedaling the ebike, please note.  Important tips: the throttle for the Bafang M400 motor only works under load with the pedal speed reaching 10km/h.

The display connector is with 5 pin round connector which means for UART protocol, not for CAN protocol, please note.

Bafang Max drive M400 /G330 barebone motor.

If your motor is "old age" and defective, you can buy a new barebone motor to replace it.

The default protocol for our barebone M400 motor is UART, please note. 

How to check your max drive G330 motor is UART or CAN protocol? Check the original display connector, UART protocol is with round 5pin connector display which CAN protocol is with 5pin triangle connector display.
