    There are two types of M620 torque sensor, CAN protocol and UART protocol, please check your motor protocol before ordering. The CAN protocol motor needs recalibration by the Besst tool after replacing the controller or the torque sensor, please note. If you don't have Besst tool access, please don't order the CANbus controller. If you ordered the controller board, you can use your original case and harness, if you don't know how to install the controller board, we have video for it; it's about a 5-10 minutes job, no soldering for the controller board.

    Note: Some  UART motors may need calibration after replacing the controller. If you don't know how to calibrate the controller manually, you can order a Bafang M620 calibration display(Only for UART) together with the controller.

    How to classify UART or CAN protocol for your M620 motor? Please check the connector of the display,  UART protocol motor is with round connector while CAN protocol motor is with triangle display connector.

    Bafang Ultra M620 G510 motor torque sensor /torsion sensor for replacement;

    Bafang Ultra M620 torque sensor with axle for repair. There are two types of M620 torque sensor, CAN protocol and UART protocol, please check your motor protocol before ordering. The CAN protocol motor needs re-calibration by the Besst tool after replacing the torque sensor or controller, please note. If you don't have Besst too access, please don't order the CAN torque sensor.

  3. Bafang max drive /Bafang M400 Motor controller (UART /CAN)

    Bafang max drive /Bafang M400 Motor controller (UART /CAN)

    Bafang max drive  M400 G330 motor controller(UART protocol) for replacement. If your motor is with CAN protocol, this controller will not fit. Please double check before ordering.

    The Bafang M400 controllers has several parameters, 36V 250W, 36V 350W, 43V 350W or 48V 350W controllers, please check your own motor before placing the order.

    If you want a headlight for your bike, you can add a pair Bafang MAX M400 G330 headlight/rearlight cable and a LED headlgiht with the controller.

    Note: if your original motor is with coaster brake, this controller may not fit.

    Bafang has two protocols for the max drive mid motor, UART or CAN protocol. How to identify? UART protocol controllers no need calibration; CAN protocol controllers may needs calibration. 

    UART protocol controller will have a "U" mark on the controller, it's EB-BUS connector  is with female connector and the display for the motor would be UART protocol with a 5 pin round connector.  

    If the display connector is with triangle connector, then it is with CAN protocol. The back of the display may also mark “CAN” .

    The controllers we are selling is with UART protocol and it will not fit for CAN protocol motor. please double check before ordering. 

    If your original controller is 48V 13A, then you can choose 48V 13A controller for replacement. Bafang has upgraded to 13A controller for the 48V motor.

    Bafang Max drive MM M400 G330 axle with torque sensor;

    The axle provided by Bafang fits for Bafang M400 G330 mid motor.

    The length for the axle is 151mm.

    There are two versions for Max drive mid motor, standard e-brake motor and coaster brake(pedal brake) mid motor; and the torque sensor for them are different.

    There are two protocols for the torque sensors, CAN and UART protocol;  For how to identify the motor is UART or CAN protocol, please check our pictures on the M400 controller page. There is another way to identify. UART protocol torque sensor connectors are with the female connectors which are shown on our pictures; the CAN torque sensor is with the male connectors.
